The following excursions are part of our program, and included in the price of the camp: Desfiladero de las Xanas (Sp. Narrow Pass of the Water Fairies), a classic route of Asturian hiking lasting approximately 3 hours, and famous for its striking scenic beauty. Salinas Beach, one of the most popular beaches on the entire northern coast of Spain, with all types of facilities and magnificent views. In addition to this, students will visit the sand dunes of El Espartal (which were declared a Natural Monument in 2006) and the Museo de Anclas, or anchor museum, which pays homage to the ocean and its peoples. Cueva Huerta, the second longest cave of Asturias (also a Natural Monument since 2002), with more than 14 kilometres of galleries, and home to one of the largest populations of cave bats in Europe.
